Strategic Health Management, Inc.

Important notation : Strategic Health Management, Inc., or SHM, is the corporate name for Health Fairs of America, Inc.’s strategic health management program. SHM works in close cooperation with WELCOM, the Wellness Council of Midlands, an affiliate of WELCOA, the Wellness Council of America. This gives the program direct access to a wealth of information and documented experience that can and will be incorporated into our customized recommendations. Information available through our WELCOM /WELCOA alliance includes corporate best practices; data on results achieved, including ROI; program implementation guidelines and tips that promote employee acceptance and participation; data collection and reporting; and much more.

The availability of these kinds of employer data are a principal differentiator between Strategic Health Management, Inc. and competitors, many of whom have emerged only recently from the fitness sector.

SHM assists client companies in assessing employee health and productivity needs, identifying health care cost drivers and providing direction and resources to create sustainable, targeted interventions to address needs. We assist in developing and implementing health initiatives that reflect current business strategy while measuring the effectiveness of all program components in order to position or reposition a program for success.

SHM is making a difference – a positive difference – in the health of employees in corporations nationwide. The changes in employee behaviors we foster lead to documentable, often repeatable, improvements in bottom-line performance through more effectively constrained health care costs.
